Aylwyn Bowen

Aylwyn has lived in Exeter for 45 years during which time he set up and ran the successful design company, AB Design Group. His strengths in ideas, communication and design skills have contributed to a new sense of visual identity for St James. He has an inherent enthusiasm for supporting neighbourhood initiatives and is an active member of TWRA and Exeter St James Forum.

Robyn Connett

Robyn, a retired university lecturer, brought up her family in St James and has lived in the same house for 38 years. Her long-held vision for St James as a diverse but cohesive community with pride in its identity led her to take on roles in Exeter St James Forum and now Exeter St James Community Trust.

Paul Layton  

Paul, Trust secretary and member of the Forum steering group, has lived all his adult life in Exeter and is a long-standing resident of Powderham Crescent. A former secondary school teacher and union officer, now retired, he is committed to bringing about improvement to the local community for the benefit of all who live and work in St James.

Harry Temple

Harry, a retired Clinical Psycholgist, worked in the NHS since moving to Exeter in 1977, bringing up his family first in St Davids and then in St James. He enjoys the diversity of the inner city areas and has been involved in many community activities over these years.

Beth Osment

Beth has lived and worked in Central Exeter for nearly 15 years, living in St James for 10 of those. Currently a full time mum with 2 children at St Sidwells School, Beth enjoys living at the heart of the City. Having worked as a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer, Beth sees the potential of St James to be a wonderful City Centre Neighbourhood and wishes to help to achieve the 'vision' of the Neighbourhood Plan.

Rebecca Bower

Rebecca is a chartered accountant and spent most of her career in the Finance Department of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. She moved to Exeter three years ago and loves living in Horseguards and is enjoying everything the city has to offer. She is a Trustee of two other charities and volunteers regularly for Devon Wildlife Trust too.
